Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat for Discerning Couples Seeking Luxury Bed & Breakfast or a Self Contained Cottage Getaway near Mt Warning, Murwillumbah on the Far North Coast NSW

Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat caters for a maximum of only three couples to ensure maximum peace, privacy and service levels. In fact, we came second from 3000 entries in the Australia Post Customer Service Small Business of the Year Awards ~ a testament to the excellent service we afford our Retreat guests. We won the Northern Rivers Regional Award of Excellence for every year from 2000-2006, and were inducted into the Regional Hall of Fame for 2006-2008. We won the NSW State Tourism Award of Excellence for 2004-2005 and the HMAA State Award of Excellence in 2007, again in 2008 and were National Award of Excellence finalists in 2009 at which time we "retired" from entering Awards.

Luxury Self Contained Cottage Retreat ~ Fully Self Contained for the Ultimate in Privacy

The first thing you notice when you arrive at Hillcrest Cottage Retreat is the panoramic views from Mt Warning, which can be clearly seen from your QS Bedroom and large ensuite bathroom, to the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges and the Cougal Mountains which fill the panoramic view from your lounge and private verandah. Then it's the peace and quiet that impresses you as you open the rustic timber gate to enter your own private garden.

With split system reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans for summer comfort, real wood fire for winter romance, fully equipped kitchen, gas bbq, lounge with stereo wide-screen tv, dvd and stereo system, separate QS bedroom with two double built-in wardrobes and huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower, Hillcrest Retreat Cottage has everything you could possibly need for a romantic retreat, honeymoon or just to escape the rat-race and relax in comfort for a while.

Luxury Bed & Breakfast Retreat

Set in a private guest wing of the main residence, Hillcrest Mountain View Bed & Breakfast, is 4½ Star Rated and winner of multiple State and Regional Tourism Awards from 2000 to present day.

Hillcrest B&B offers separate entry, private guest lounge, set up as a quiet reading area with comfortable leather recliner chairs, open fireplace, stereo system, library of books, games, cds, dvds, stocked fridge, 24 hour beverage-making facilities and double glass sliding doors opening to our charming central atrium with tropical plants, fishpond and resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months.

The guest wing also houses our peaceful Massage room and two luxury, fully air-conditioned guest suites ~ the Blue Room and the Spa Suite ~ details of both are below:

The Spa Suite ~ Burgundy, Gold, Stone and Natural Timber for the Ultimate in Luxury

Hillcrest Retreat Bed & Breakfast Spa Suite is a large QS room with QS bed, television and dvd player. A good size built-in wardrobe comes complete with robes, pool towels and plenty of hangers, whilst double glass sliding doors open from your room to a large verandah where you'll find table, chairs and your own personal hammock outside your room.  Your large ensuite bathroom has a luxury double spa bath with its own instant gas hot water system so you are guaranteed a full bath of hot water at all times, separate shower, bath towels, candles, hairdryer and a selection of toiletries for use during your stay. Fully air-conditioned and with ceiling fans, our Spa Suite is the ultimate in luxury. Cost includes our full four course country-style breakfast with home-made bread (gluten free on request) and our own free-range eggs each morning, as well as Port and "something chocolate" each evening.

A good size built-in wardrobe comes complete with robes, pool towels and plenty of hangers, whilst double glass sliding doors open from your room to a large verandah where you'll find table, chairs and your own personal hammock outside your room.  Your ensuite bathroom has a full size bath, separate oversize shower, bath towels, candles, hairdryer and a selection of toiletries for use during your stay. Fully air-conditioned and with ceiling fans, our Blue Room is 4½ Star luxury at an affordable price. Cost includes our full four course country-style breakfast with home-made bread (gluten free on request) and our own free-range eggs each morning as well as Port and "something chocolate" each evening.
